IAN JOY has been making films since 2020, shooting narrative film, commercials, brand stories, and music videos. Joy’s attention to detail stems from drawing Michael Bay’s TRANSFORMERS with crayons from the age of 5. Joy fell in love with colors from an even younger age. This level of passion still fuels his mission of actualizing the goals of every artist, brand, and company he encounters with his filmmaking and his eye for heightened cinematography.

Joy runs his production company, DREAM EFFECT, as well as freelance cinematography in Los Angeles, CA.
